November 23, 2010, Indio, CA. Donna Loren teamed with Trini Lopez to show her support for “Lift Up America” (www.liftupamerica.org),, a charitable organization distributing food to the needy, on November 22nd in Indio, California.
Loren recently released her holiday single "Merry Christmas Baby" to rave reviews and today’s radio play stats show that the buzz is beginning.
Loren is best known as the 60s star of the popular TV show “Shindig”, as the Dr Pepper Girl and co-star of five Beach Party films with Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon.

This well-known classic was recorded by The King, Elvis Presley, as well as The Queen, Etta James, and 23 other artists. Now, in 2010, "Merry Christmas Baby" is re-interpreted for the holidays by Donna Loren in a very sensual rhythm and blues arrangement featuring piano a la Leon Russell and Dr. John and saxophone that will take you back to the roots of rock and roll.
This song will also be included in a new EP entitled "Donna Does Elvis in Hawaii" consisting of four Elvis songs: Loving You, (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear and One Night in addition to Merry Christmas Baby. EP scheduled release 11/15/2010
